Governor Jay Nixon was in Springfield Tuesday to explain what he calls his top legislative priority of the year.

He used the success of Custom Powder Systems (2715 North Airport Commerce Ave) to highlight goals of the new "Missouri Works" plan. Nixon wants to attract automotive suppliers, expand Missouri exports, train workers for high-tech careers, hire military veterans, jumpstart jobs in science and technology, target high-growth industries and create jobs in rural communities.
